RESTARTING WHAT I STARTED!

Hi Guys,

It seems that I was right about the difference between "The All or Nothing guys" or "Always ready for Compromises guys". Yes, you can see that I flunked my try to loose weight in the way
I planned to - "The All or Nothing" routine by not eating. But as I said in the mentioned post the other guys have far more chance to succeed then me, because they are slow but sure.
I can tell the story that I had to abandon the project(diet) 'cause of health issues i.e. had to take some medications which require a meal before consuming them but...... that's a story all of the readers would say to - "Yeah, you've got yourself a pity excuse" ......
Well for the "Believers", It was a revelation experience with this professor who examined me with echo tomography due to some blood tests of mine that were confusing me. Nevertheless the point is that my liver was slightly "fattened"(I have no idea what term to use- hope this explains it) so I got a prescription for -"ursofalk" and "lescol" to sort the problem out. The wisdom the professor provided to me follows:
"I see you are an intelectual , therefore you have to practice some fine manners while eating, yo have to eat in smaller amounts and slowly, eating fast is a little "barbaric" and not refined at all. While practicing so you'll see the difference in your eating habits. And the best recipe to restrict what you will and won't eat is trying to avoid the "three white powders" (don't take the word for granted since only one is a powder, others are crystal shape - but for the sake of God we won't get into that :-) ), which refers to
  • flour
  • sugar
  • salt
This my friend means to literally avoid eating as much as possible of these stuff, and never add them to a dish."

Wow, it really makes sense. I'm gonna follow the advice, huh I already am following it for several weeks.
I admit I ate very salted meals and always adding more salt to almost anything because it was making the flavor for me even when the meal was disgusting. I can recall a guy who was into that "Diet by blood types" once told me that for me being O-negative blood type it's obvious that I have a natural deficit of Iodine in my system and therefore I was supplementing it through eating salt (which is purposely bonded with salt due to a proper function of the thyroid gland) but hey..... who you gonna believe? Everyone is a guru today...... Don't mistake me for one! Haha.... I'm simply trying to do something the way I think It'll work for me, and hopefully for others......
Not to forget, I started training Aikido 2 months ago because I finally had to improve my mobility and have to thank my wife for persuading me to go practice with her.....

CAN YOU CHEAT DURING YOUR DIET ???!!!

What happens when you cheat during your diet?
Do you desperately wanna have a break from your diet? Are you thinking you deserve some free days?
For me, it's crucial to cheat with low calorie snacks, and NOT cheat with meals !
If you can't keep your hands off food , then I would suggest that you have a snack like a pack of flips, some watermelon, potato chips but very small quantity, a yogurt or a cracker. Now it's important, whatever snack you choose, to determine ahead the quantity that you gonna have. Why? Because if you don't, you'll end up eating a whole bag of stuff and that's not dieting by my definition !
If you start to cheat with a whole meal, then you are off course for sure.
But I'll tell you a secret for you to know when you are cheating and disrupting your diet: It's when you start persuading yourself that this little thing you're gonna eat is nothing, that little thing has so few calories and it won't hurt, sweet juices or beverages are just drinks and not food so they don't count ............. I can continue numbering a lot of cases. You might guess how I know this, yes, I use to do it too, and got stuck with no results on me.
Therefore you must still obey the one and only principle that my so called "Diet Theory" rests upon : " YOU HAVE TO EAT VERY SMALL AMOUNTS OF FOOD IN ORDER TO ADAPT YOUR ORGANISM TO START BURNING FAT SO IT CAN FEED IT SELF WITH THE NECESSARY AMOUNTS OF CALORIE".
So by cheating you are only delaying the process or even adding a plus amount then you need, and eventually you are gonna get stuck with the way you are or slowly, very slowly still gain weight.

I FEEL I NEED SOME SKIN MARK LOTION !!!

Image via WikipediaI feel I need some exercise and some lotion for skin marks for pregnant women !
Don't get confused by the pic, I haven't changed my sex, HAHA.
Yeah you've got that right. Now I'm starting to feel that I've lost some weight and I feel more flexible but this is the point not to think that you've done it all, on the contrary this is just the tip of the ice berg, you need to maintain your course and have focus on the stuff you are doing and the result you are awaiting. You can see why the skin needs elasticity by viewing the photo.
But I must point out that due to big expansion in body mass and vice versa, those skin marks I've shown on some photos when starting this experiment, are a bit fragile stuff and can continue to expand even when loosing weight. The white skin marks are harder to spot, but the red ones you can't hide except with plastic surgery. Therefore to get the skin in shape I suggest I should have some workout even several minutes a day but also I'm going to apply skin mark lotion for pregnant women.
Yes, you can laugh all you can but this is the thing for preventing skin marks. I've read a bunch of stuf on the net about different lotions and the miracles they gonna do for you and make your skin marks disappear, but the bear fact is that non of them can do that, you can just use them to prevent future skin marks. But let's face it, men do not pay so much attention to this compared to women, so the best thing is to go out and buy yourself a good lotion for preventing skin marks on pregnant women.

End of story, and that is what you should do if skin marks bother you.

About Hoax photos on the WEB

Now, It was never my intention to criticize other blogs or webs, since I think that the road to success of a blog is to make friends and not enemies.
But I cannot stand to see some photos that are making me feel dumb on purpose!!! That's why I'm freaking out and not letting someone to play with my perception and perform tricks with before and after images and that only work out made that in just 2 weeks or a month. Bull S*it ! Let me analyze only one website.
Don't get me wrong I've got nothing against working out or the guys that own the site, I'm not even saying that their model for loosing weight doesn't work, just not agreeing with the photos, the light tricks, the different body positions when showing Before&After, and tanning the body to present same figure but with a delusion that it seems thinner and with more stamina.

Photo #01: In this animated GIF photo there are two pics of a guy before&after. The differance in the two photos is in the before one the guy is pale - litteraly, with loosen body and stomach pumped up on purpose like a baloon which hidesany muscle body lines.The chin is higher up so it gives the body a longer looking figure. You cannot see the hands in both pics so I'm assuming his hands(palms) are loosen too.
The After photo is another storry, the guy tanned a lot since the before pic- giving the picture a greater contrast in the muscle transition area and a perception that a greater muscle definition is achieved (I'll admit that maybe there is some diferance with the before&after but not the way it's shown), then there's the position of the muscle pumped body - you've tried it for sure in front of the mirror, you contract all the muscles in you body and it makes you look diffrent, the chin is lowered so it gives more stamina to the hole figure, and I can bet that those hands are squeezing knuckles so those veins on the inside of the elbows can be shown better.
White shorts vs. Black shorts is an obvious trick for me!

Photo #02: In this photo one thing is obvious and that's enough. Before body position is OK, but After body position is making the scam, the woman has surely inhaled a lot and leaning forward with her head(which you can spot from a mile away) is eliminating the upper love handles, and offcourse the white vs. black top that you can honestly say that the white one is a size or two smaller to help bring up the upper love handles, and the black is loosen. And the bihind isn't changed at all.

Photo #03 : The black vs. white top again, although the owner of the page says that he told the person not to wear black. I'm not sure whether this should be the same person from the photo #02, but I will say that here we've got a fat differance (scouts honner), but the back ground is tricky so you can't be sure if Photoshop was not in the game, and last the thing is you can't be sure it's tha same person since the head is blurred for intentional or privacy reasons.

About Tricks !!!

Now , short time after my previous post, a trickey idea swirled inside my head.
It would be nice if I could earn some money writing my blog, but I'm not so familiar with the bloggers methods of making money, so an "analog" idea was that I could sell my story as "Before and After" guy to some company that sells those fancy products that helps you
loose weight with no pains or worries.
Not a bad idea right, but then I would have to delete this blog and if someone sees me and report it, then I would be in an awkward position, won't you say.

Nevertheless It was nice sharing this idea.

But If you can help me developing a method to earn money with my blog - but no trick included, Be my guest, I would be very thankful.

Surgery Post Was Not a Trick !!!

To all of those who read my post about my surgery I wish to stress out that it was not a trick just to bring readers to my blog giving the impression that the surgery was a direct link to loosing weight i.e. if I have done a liposuction or something like that. This disclaimer I'm giving due to the highest jump in visits to my blog after one post.
So People what I'm doing is the hard way, giving some hard time to my body and my natural drive for food.
The surgery type of loosing weight I would never consider to get tested on me, except if "God Forbid", a life threatening condition doesn't give me any other choice.

2-nd July, my surgery went OK?



I announced that my experiment is going to gain more value the day during and after my surgery because I cannot use my jaw to eat food, so it's only liquids for me for several days!
The diagnosis is/was:
"Cystis Mandibulae per Magna latera sinistra" -which basicly means "Big Cyst on the left side of the lower jaw".
Now the operation went OK, the team was professional to the smallest detail, and we all together listened to the music on the radio. I had anesthesia locally and intervenous called......
Man you feel like "High", no bull, because you have no pain or sensation - just like you are in the clouds but you can percept everything arround. You can imagine that my face was covered with a cloth, but anyway that's OK cause that light reflector was like the sun.
Luckaly I don't have a swelling, but for just in case I was given Ice to hold on my chin in intervals so it prevents future swelling, so even if I publish my pic on this post there won't be much to see, but my lips and lower face muscles are still numb even 7 hours after the surgery.
Now I just want things to develop for the best and have another stimulant to help with this experiment.
The pics are taken by my web cam on the laptop that I brought with myself at the hospital.
Just holding my thumbs that everything is gonna be fine.

WHAT KIND OF PERSON ARE YOU ?

Now please take the time to decide what type of person are you for dieting!
My assumption (I'm avoiding to say theory) is that there are two types of people when it comes to putting yourself on a diet: one is "The All or Nothing" kind of guy and there is the "Always Ready for Compromises" type.
Now you're guessing what I'm gonna say:
I'm the All or Nothing type !!! Please let me elaborate, I am not trying to patronize myself, just merely describing how I can bear with diets. I've discovered, since I already lost weight several years before the same way, that I can easily say "NO" to food at all i.e. if I restrain my self with very little amount and tastes then I can get through more easily in the overall situation. But when I try several things with different tastes in small portions then it's like some valves are opened and just crave for more and I end up eating everything in big portions. You might say I'm a food addict because once I'm into it, I can't quit so easy. Maybe it's just the food for me, maybe I can make compromises with my behaviour regarding different subjects.
At the other end, "
Always Ready for Compromises" guy will have just small problems with obeying the rules of the diet. These people can also have little difficulties with keeping the the desired body figure, something that I will have to work on a lot after I finish this project.

MY TODAY'S ONLY MEAL!


Well, to have a good subject on the blog it has to sound like the above written title.
Now today was an exhausting day for me, I had to take some antibiotics early in the morning and go to work as fast as possible, so I had a banana - the only thing to grab between me and the door out. By the way I'm having antibiotics because of my dental works prescribed by the dentist which is preparing me for the surgery on the 2nd of July.
Now let me describe my day.
Got up 6:20 am, washed, got dressed, ate the banana drank the antibiotic and by 7:00 I was traveling to the next town to get some tractor tyres for a customer. I borrowed a car from a friend 'cause I didn't have a hook for "another friend's trailer" and got back in my town around 10:00 am. As fast as I could I loaded off the tyres, and want to give back the trailer and the car, but the trailer had a flat tyre so, half an hour at the neighbour workshop to repair it, and the guy there had to seal the inner tube tyre but also had to change the outside tube type tire..... hummm... That's what happens when you borrow other people's stuff. But the good moment was: the guy had a used tyre and he needed an oil seal for his bike, and since I sell oil seals -
A BARTER WAS DONE IMMEDIATELY !!! Right after that, I barely got on time to my appointment with my hairdresser , then buy some stuff for home, get to work to pick up my wife and rushed again to the next town to my dentist appointment and to get some paperwork done at the polish embassy for my wife, later we got back to our town, almost right away drove our daughter to the doctor's for a check up and finally we got home at 19:20.
YEAP, NO *HIT! YOU'RE DAMN RIGHT!
So the final thing to end this post is with a pic of the meal that I had at 19:30 at last, and a glass of cola as you can see in the pic.
The meal is called
"tzatziki", it's a greek name and I don't know if my wife's recipe is the same as the original but it's damn tasty.
Here's the ingridients and how to prepare it yourself:
- 2 fresh cucumbers
- 2 x 200ml sour cream
- 5 garlic cloves
- some salt and
- some pepper. (nothing more)
Just put the cucumbers through a grater (to get thin longish shaped pieces), they will give some water in the bowl, add the sour cream, garlic, salt and pepper. Mix all together and VOILA you've got a heck of a salad for lunch or dinner(you can put it in the fridge for 10-15 min, so the garlic spreads it's taste).

BACK ON TRACK !

Hey people!
Now I'm often reviewing my blog and I want to say that my intention is not to make it look like a lot of
TV Series which start with the right subject but somewhere along the way they loose track of what they were all about. Take CSI for example, (don't get me wrong - I love CSI) but instead the forensic - crime solving, all high tech, DNA testing and God knows what, it transfers into emotional "stuff" between colleagues and so on. For me it should stay more objective and refer to science for every case, but nevertheless human element is unavoidable, therefore I've made some posts referring to small or larger details which somehow supplement my experiment or are an inevitable part of it.
Don't get me wrong I'm just trying to make some suggestions and better explain my effort to achieve my goal !
So the reason I'm not giving new pics and weight numbers is because I plan to do it when one full month elapses since the start of my project. This choice I made was because few days or a week is a very small period to get your hops on and the changes will be relative to see in real.
The first month is the slowest, it makes the body adapt to burning fat from the reserves it stacked during the "winter", and so the next two months should show an increased reaction of the experiment.
So don't think I've quited, on the contrary I hold my case firmly.
SO GUYS, THE FIRST RESULTS WILL BE ON THE 10th of JULY !!! KEEP FOLLOWING ME!

SPEAKING OF DIFFERENT AGES!

Now I must make a difference between dieting when you are a teenager and after twenties - single or married.
You have to bear in mind that when you are a teenager it's much easier to put yourself on a diet. And the circumstances allow it better because you can sleep late up 'till noon (I'm referring to summer time period when you're on vacation) then go out with friends and hang out all day long, afterwards just a shower at home and off you go out side again. Late walks or hanging out in the street with some neighbour fellows are welcomed so when you turn around the time has flown by. Somewhere in between you can insert a couple of salads, or a soup, but if you are not around home all day long you can have a small size potato chips so it kills your need for food. Don't exegerate 'cause you'll end up enjoung different tastes and eventually it will remind you how tasty some dishes and meals are and the next move is.....
full stomach and feeling sorry that you broke the "code"(diet), that always happens,... ONE IS ALWAYS KEEN ON STARTING A DIET WHEN HIS BELLY IS FULL, BUT IF EMPTY - "I'LL EAT JUST THIS ONCE AND THEN I'M STARTING MY DIET" !!!
If you are married or single that's another story! Your wife or friends often may prepare tasty, delicious meals, baked, cooked or boiled stuff and man that's hard to resist. So bear in mind not to get yourself involved into even debating about the next meal. Yeap that's the thing in my house. Huh.... Tough !
Be strong try to isolate yourself from these subjects and don't hang out a lot with your buddies when they eat, or if you wanna put yourself to the test...

About weather seasons when loosing weight !

Now I'm publishing this 'cause I need to stress out how important is the weather season when going on a diet and submitting yourself to harsh nutrition.
In my country summer is the period when you have a lot of fruit and vegetables on the market for very prices, and I mean it's cheap.
During this period you are covered with all the essentials for the "A La Darko Diet".
I'm not patronizing myself but nearly pointing to the diet model.
During the summer you've got everything: vegetables - cucumbers, tomatoes, cabbage....., fruit - all of it, peaches, apricots, strawberries, cherries and my favorite "water melon". Man you can eat water melon a lot, it's not gonna make you fat, someone may say there is a lot of sugar in it, yeah but I'll say what's that compared to not intaking surar at all during this period, and you are not intaking any complex sugars (carbon hydrates) and therefore you will burn this plain sugars immediately plus you'll have plenty of room to burn your own piled up fat. Haha!!!
The water melon is good because you can eat a lot of it and it will satisfy your desperate need to fill up your stomach.
Maybe I'm blessed to have this fine fruit at hilarious price per kilo over here but if you have it too, use it wise.

DAY SEVEN!

Hi guys,
Sorry for not writing 5 days but I've been busy as hell and the main reason is I painted the walls in my house for the weekend and every cable was disconnected and so was my router.
Anyways I'm holding OK, eating only vegetables (salads to be more precise) and a couple of times I've included boiled white rice for a meal.
I must admit that I was tempted a couple of times to reach for french fries and ice cream but I've made it through. You should bear in mind that sometimes it may happen that you will totally forgot you are on a diet and reach out for some tasty snack.
But try not to disappoint yourself and just keep on going, you will endure and become victorious!
Guys, the next two weeks will be extra easy for me to keep up with my diet because I'm going to get my teeth done the next week i.e. prepare them for the surgery I have on 2nd of July. I have a cyst on my lower jaw which needs to be removed and as you can imagine at least for 10 days I will only drink liquids.
Brace yourselves Folks. Pull the belt tighter to feel the extra fat every day as a reminder what you are trying to achieve.

DAY TWO !

Sorry, no pics today. I had a salad, yeah cucumber salad with some garlic for lunch.
Breakfast was also around 12:30- same as yesterday. I haven't mentioned - It is better to have your breakfast later during the day because I don't know if anyone has noticed but if you start eating early in the morning it makes you wish for more in shorter intervals afterwards. So skip the torment but instead have a coffee, juice or water.
I said earlier that I did this once and therefore I can give tips before I see the results.
Now, my stomach made some desperate sounds for food but disregarding it helps.
You know when I started yesterday my wife started asking me what I am supposed to eat, will I eat this if she cooks, will I eat that, does my diet include "rice with potatoes cooked in an oven.....
Well guys I'll give you this advice: You can take a peek in the fridge, you can fantasize for diverse feasts but one thing is best if you want to loose weight - limit your meal list to minimum. That way you won't spend time thinking about every type of meal you can prepare with the "allowed" ingredients, instead you won't be thinking about food and eating at all, 'cause you only make intake of uniform, annoying food which makes you pleasure no more but only keeps your mind strait.
So if you have a mama that wants to help and will cook for you everything you ask, just don't speak with her on that subject and tell her it's fine and you'll take care of it. Eating diverse and flavorful food just arouses the appetite and can drown you in a mouth-full desperate urge.

DAY ONE !



This is my breakfast/lunch since I had at 12:00 o'clock . You can imagine it's a salad : tomatoes , cucumber, paprika, onion and cheese on top with an olive.
I said mostly vegetables and this is our national Macedonian salad (called Shopska Salata) so the cheese is a must.
The second one is as well the samo recipe with less cheese but in addition some more olives.
That is the dinner at 18:30 o'clock.
Don't forget fluids, I already had 1,5 water plus a couple glasses of juice and a Pepsi Cola I must admit.
You can have one more salad late at night if you are a night owl never mind what time it is because you are only having essentials, nothing is gonna add up or pile up, on the contrary the rest that your body needs is going to burn off your fat.
Two to three coffees during the day is acceptable as well - as you can see on my breakfast image.

PHOTOS !!!!!!!!!!!!

Well Folks with image No.5,6 and 7 you see I've got "some" belly, titties, stomach Skin Strech Marks (red ones), love handles, double chin.... you name it.
Now, image No. 1 is natural body position, No.2 is when you pump your chest and abdomen when you inhale so you don't doubt that I'm doing some kind Before and After trick like they do it on TV commercials. No.3 is natural position topless and No.4 is with stomack sucked in again to eliminate doubt with before and after.

Everyone, You guess that I don't have a good body figure.
Now I'm showing what excess weight I have.

BIG START

The BIG START. Well It's going to start tonight 10.06.2009 ! (06.10.2009 if the Americans prefer that way).
Now people, I have some blood and urine tests results today from the doctor's (regular annual check) and it seems everything is OK except the cholesterol which is a bit higher in range than it should be. I hope to get that in order with this experiment or someone should say diet, but I would say "starving" is a bit more adequate word.
Anyway beside the lab tests a scale weighting and height measurement was done.
I'm not at all proud saying ("writing") I weight 128 kgs (kilos, that's 282.19 lb, wow), and 178 cm tall(5.83 ft).
I don't have photos of that since it would be awkward to do that at the doctor's :D , but I'll make some tonight of myself just before
The Big Start.
I just want to say, I'm doing this for myself, don't intend to impress or moralize someone, but I don't mind if someone sees it as trigger, or find it hopeful.
The battle starts tonight midnight!
Just for the record it's better not to have dinner the day before starting a diet, because in the morning your guts make sounds and make you feel hungry a lot, but if skipping dinner this ends during your sleep and that makes it easier to get through the day.

THE REASON AND THE CONCEPT.

I'm gonna do this, Loose Weight in 2-3 Months. And I mean to loose a lot of weight.
I'll submit pictures so that you can witness. It's not a hoax nor it will be.
If I fail I won't be embarressed to admit it, although it may turn out that a lot of people that I know will see this blog. So I got a big stake in it.
First I wanted to make this blog on a white surface, sparkling white, like the web sites which sell fancy pills for loosing weight, and I mean they are everywhere, they bombard on youtube as well and have promoters like Oprah or others. No offence, I don't want to get in any kind of legal shit with those guys. But white surface idea fell out because I don't feel sparkling white with my 120-130 kilos. I say 120-130 because I haven't scale weighted my self, was a bit scared to be honest. But not any more!
I'm throwing everything I've got on this bet, since I achieved it once before, for my Prom. I'll submit pics for that too, so no-one gets confused or thinks that I cheat.
No pills people, no vitamin shakes, just plain vegetables and fruit but mostly vegetables.
I'll add up once daily for every meal or snack.
And the real reason to get Fat-To-Thin-ASAP is my family and myself, and the concept is to do it on my own(and not pills) so I can get the credit. You feel me? Work the bike myself not someone pushing me from behind.
Any comments are welcomed, just don't be rude.

Plus I want to have results fast-ASAP, and not celebrating loosing 1 kilo a month and wait years to see my expected body figure. That way I'll quit in the middle of the process for sure or at the very beginning like most people do(even I for a few times).
Now spread the word people, these will be 3 hard months for me.
